Leader: Strickland Wheelock, Beth Milke and crew. Observers: 13 members and friends of the Forbush Bird Club. Weather: Clear, calm and starry with temps in the 50's. Highlights: One Saw-whet Owl, (#1014-50529, a hatch year female), was banded after 9 PM, the third of the season. The owls are appearing a bit later this year due to the prolonged spell of warm, rainy weather. There was a flying squirrel in the net early on.(trip report from Beth Milke).
