Seven Seas Whale Watch, Rte. 127 Gloucester

Take Route 128 north to the first rotary. Take the first right off that rotary (Exit 11, Route 127, Washington Street). Follow 8/10 mile to the Joan of Arc statue. Bear right, then take your first left onto Angle Street. When you get to a stop sign, go straight across the intersection toward the harbor. About 100 yards ahead, turn left onto Route 127 (Rogers Street). The Gloucester House Restaurant and Seven Seas Whale Watch are on the right, 200 yards ahead. A Birder's Guide To Eastern, MA - page 87, available
used (out of print) from Amazon.Com

Take either Rt 95 in Canton, MA or Rt 24 south in Randolph, MA, both off of I-93, to I-495 South. Take to exit 6 (Rt 44). At end of ramp go right. Follow to circle, take Rt 44 East exit off of rotary. Go through 3 sets of lights and at the fourth light take a left onto Rt 105 North. Follow Rt 105 for about three miles going past several farms and farm fields. Look for River Street; it should be the first street which crosses Rt 105 (can go left or right). Take a right onto River Street; this is the north side of the field complex. About 1/2 mile or so there is a road into the complex. Most park at the entrance and walk in. This would get more birds than driving in.

Veasey Memorial Park
201 Washington Street, Groveland, MA
Map of the area or driving directions from your location

To get to Veasey Memorial Park in Groveland you first need to get to Groveland Center where Routes 113 (from Newburyport) and 97 (from Haverhill or Georgetown) meet. If you were coming from Georgetown on 97 take the last left before crossing the Merrimack River (do not cross the William Bates Bridge into Haverhill). The left is Main Street (although it doesn't look like one). Follow it along the River until it merges with Gardner Street. Go about the same distance on Main to an intersection where there is a liquor store and take that left onto Washington Street (I saw no street sign here). Then follow Washington for less than 2 miles (through 2 stop signs and across Salem Street) until you see a cleared hill on your right. Just before you cross a small stream at the south end of the hill there is a sign for the Park and a paved road up the hill to your right.
